He was predeceased by: his parents, William Saylor Hench and Lottie Paxton Hench; his wife Lois Ann Hench (Fair); his son Alan Hench; and his siblings, Rob, Harold, Elwood Hench, Dorothy and Martha.
He is survived by: his sons, Blaine of Mechanicsburg and Keith Hench of Mechanicsburg; his brother Bill Hench of Carlisle; and his granddaughters, Maret Hench, Aliyah Hench, Karis Hench, Brittany Harris, Haven Hench and Jewel Currie. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to his church.
