James E. Hoover Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 28, 2025, at the age of 83, James E. Hoover of Enola, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Selden P. Hoover and H. Romaine "Skip" Sheaffer; his sons, David Griffith, Scott and Duane Hoover; and his sister-in-law Rose Eileen.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Tara Villarreal (Shawn) of York Haven and Lucas Hall-Hoover (Michelle) of Dover; his great grandchildren, Tanner, Shane Villarreal and Landon Hall-Hoover; and his brothers, Edward "Ed" Hoover of Apollo, Linwood "Lin" Hoover (Donna Lee) of Mechanicsburg and Richard "Rich" Hoover (Darleen) of Selinsgrove. He is also survived by several nephews and one niece.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mt. Holly Springs Cemetery (2 Watts St, Mt Holly Springs, PA 17065).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105.
