He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Hite and Audrey Hite (Wagner); and his brother David R. Hite. He is survived by: his wife Linda (Young); his son Marcus D. Hite (Kathy) of Duncannon; his granddaughter Peyton Curtis; and his siblings, Gregory A. Hite (Carol) of Eldridge, IA and Trudy E. Hite of Edenton, NC..
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Christ Lutheran Church (115 Church St, Duncannon, PA 17020). A masonic service will be held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 12:15 PM at the same location.
His advocacy for hunting conservation was an integral part of his life, as evidenced by his involvement with the Eastern Chapter of the Foundation for North American Wild Sheep (FNAWS) and his former board membership with the Grand Slam Club - OVIS.
