He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Martin and Mary Martin (Dicker); and his brothers, James Martin and Robert Martin. He is survived by: his wife Marcia L. Martin (Hammel); his daughters, Wendy Bryden (Jeffrey) of Moose Pass and Jane Baker (John) of Lancaster; his grandchildren, Cody, Casey and Alexis; and his brother Joseph Martin of Camphill.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Mother of Perpetual Help Church (320 Church Ave, Ephrata, PA 17522). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Mother of Perpetual Help (320 Church Ave, Ephrata, PA 17522).

David's contributions to local governance were equally commendable; he served on the Ephrata Zoning Board for many years, where his insight and dedication aided in making thoughtful decisions for the community's future.
