She was predeceased by: her parents, Rufus Nolt and Suie Nolt (Martin); her husband John C. Hassell; her sons, Timothy N. Hassell and Thomas M. Hassell; and her grandchildren, Jonathan D. Lapp and Jamie Hassell.
She is survived by: her children, James "Jim" K. (Christine Hassell) and Maxine (late Dennis Lapp); her grandchildren, Matthew G. (Barbara Lapp), Jesse C. (Lexi Lapp) and Rachel Hassell; her close friends, Derrick Burgess, Corey (Ilana), Daniel Hassell and Joel (Brittany); her great grandchildren, Noah, Ava, Madelyn, Eden, Elly, Gabriel, Ethan and Grayson; her daughter-in-law Kathy Hassell (Butner); and her siblings, Irene Wall, Dorothy Gamble, Carl Nolt and Pearl Rutter.
