With sadness, we share the passing of Esther S. Martin of Ephrata, Pennsylvania. Esther, born on July 10, 1938, passed away on June 3, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer M. Burkholder and Elizabeth H. Burkholder (Shirk); her sister Laura Zimmerman; and her son-in-law Warren Auker. She is survived by: her husband Raymond W. Martin; her children, David Martin (Rhoda) of Ephrata, Margaret Wenger (Nelson) of Stevens, Martha Ann Brubaker (Leonard, Jr.) of Richland, Stephen Martin (JoAnn) of Ephrata, Janice Martin (William) of Due West, SC and Jonathan Martin (Lavonna) of Free Union, VA; her sister Anna Wise of Seneca Falls, NY; and her brother-in-law Adam Zimmerman of Ephrata. She is also survived by 27 grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, 78 great grandchildren, five step-great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
