He is survived by: his close friend Odres Ann "Audrey" Zimmerman; his sons, Shane and Justin Kauffman; and his siblings, Gerald (Carol Kauffman), James (Marci Kauffman), Jay (Collene Kauffman) and Juanita (Mark Akers).
