With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nancy Leah Alston (Ephrata, Pennsylvania), born in Newark, New Jersey, who passed away on June 20, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Henry Metternich and Ruth Metternich (Taber); her daughters, Emma and Karen; her grandchildren, Thomas, Karen, William Thomas Fuentes, Alyssia Malone, Jennifer Leah Fuentes and Ryan Ink; her great grandchildren, Lyric Grace Fuentes and Logan Matthew Ink; her son Thomas (Lynn Spayd); her granddaughter Abigail Leah; and her sister Pat.
The family wish to thank the caring staff at Zerbe Sisters Nursing Center for the loving care they provided for Nancy throughout her struggle with Alzheimer's disease. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Zerbe Sisters Nursing Center, 2499 Zerbe Road, Narvon, PA 17555.
