He was predeceased by: his parents, George Hunter and Ida Hunter (Arthur); his wife Barbara J. Hunter; his siblings, Velma Johnston, John Harris and Tom Bailey; and his stepdaughter Darla Hoover.
He is survived by: his daughters, Valerie Cartwright (Chad) and Vanessa Hunter Austin (Steve); his stepdaughters, Cindy Michael (Kevin) and Sharon Wenner (Gene); his grandchildren, Brian Lindgren, Kaitln Finder, Britny Kreiter, Tyler Michael, Meghan Michael, Hannah Hoover, Paul Cartwright and Stephanie Wenner; his great grandchildren, Cayden, Cole Lindgren, Evelyn, Malcolm Finder, Cassidy and Dax Kreiter; his niece Kathy Schaffer (Lanny); and his nephew Kit Johnston.
