He was predeceased by: his wife Lena Burkholder Zimmerman; his parents, Martin Zimmerman and Susanna Burkholder Zimmerman; his children, Nelson Zimmerman and Lorraine Zimmerman; his granddaughter Alana Zimmerman; his great great grandchildren, Diana Burkholder and Gabriel Stauffer; and his siblings, Elmer, Eli, John, Mary, Elsie, Martin Zimmerman, Eva Martin (Paul), Anna Horst (Mervin), Esther Good (Willis) and Sarah Zimmerman (Raymond).
He is survived by: his children, Irene (Delmar Stauffer) of Myerstown, Minerva (Timothy Nolt) of Denver, Ruth (Roy Sensenig) of Ephrata and Paul; his daughter-in-law Lynette Hoover (late Nelson Zimmerman) of Leesport; and his sister Susan (Paul Martin) of Stevens. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 64 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren.
