Richard Ritter Obituary

We announce the death of Richard Ritter of Ephrata, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 30, 2026, at the age of 78. Richard will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Ritter and Leah Ritter (Balsbaugh); and his brother Robert Ritter. He is survived by: his wife Michelle A. Ritter (Neil); his sons, Richard A. (Erica Ritter) of Ephrata and William D. (Cheryl Ritter) of Campbellsville, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Braden, Dylan Ritter of Ephrata, Clarice, Carynne, Cayla and Cora Ritter of Campbellsville; his brother Glenn (Cheryl Ritter) of New Holland; his brother-in-law Michael Neil of Lebanon; and his aunts, Anna Mae Kupp of Lititz and Yvonne Balsbaugh of Lebanon. He is also survived by many cousins, a niece, and a nephew.
