He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Wenrich and Katie Wenrich (Harting); his wife June E. Wenrich; his son Richard R. Wenrich; and his siblings, Leon and Virginia.

He is survived by: his daughter Sharon Frost; and his grandsons, James Frost II (April) and Jason Frost (Billie). He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
