He was predeceased by: his parents, James Lawson Holmes and Miriam Holmes (Null). He is survived by: his wife Gail; his children, Lisa Conway (Joe), Beth Stec (Paul), Jim Holmes (Lynne) and Eric Holmes (Becky); his grandchildren, LeeAnne Crooks (Ray), Jenna Davis (Keith), Ryan Stec, Nathan Holmes (Olivia), Adam Stec, Noah Holmes, Johanna Green (Samuel), Cayden Holmes and Carson Holmes; and his great grandchildren, Max Crooks, Charlie Crooks, Lucy Davis and Harry Davis.
