He was predeceased by: his daughter Lori Ann Schnakenberg. He is survived by: his children, Timothy Schnakenberg (Samantha) of Oklahoma, Leslie Schnakenberg of Equinunk and Steven Schnakenberg of Equinunk; his grandchildren, Noah and Sheridan; and his sister Myra Johannes (Terry) of Equinunk.
Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Damascus.
