He was predeceased by: his parents, Merritt N Rhoad Sr. and Margaret Hewitt Rhoad; his wife Doris; and his son Peter Rhoad. He is survived by: his siblings, Margaret Wynn and C. Edmunds Rhoad; his children, Kimberly Bond (Lou) and Thomas Rhoad; and his stepdaughters, Carol Clarke, Janet Ackerman (Russ), Kathryn Meyers (Darren) and Beth Walsh (late John Little).
