We are sad to announce that on July 15, 2025, Allen Berkey Barnett in Erie, Pennsylvania, born in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Jay, Donald, Ardell, Richard, Harvey, Dorothy and Joann; his close friend Bill Stiles; and his siblings' children, Mike Barnett, Debbie Bridge and Marsha Cochrane.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Bennett; his children, Allen Jr. (Laurie) of Warren, PA, Angela (Elmer Lloyd) of Timblin, PA, James (Tina) of Brookville, PA and Ann Marie (Ken Erdner) of Natrona Heights, PA; and his grandchildren, Dustin Barnett, Matt Smith, Tika Dickey, Travis Barnett and Michael Tromblay. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Dora Evangelical Church (2547 Dora Timblin Rd, Punxsutawney, PA 15767). Viewing will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Shumaker Funeral Home (115 E Union St, Punxsutawney, PA 15767). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Dora Church.
