She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Louise (Dalrymple) and Francis Edward Dieteman; her siblings, Charles and Mary Louise; and her significant other Richard H. Thayer.
She is survived by: her children, Richard H. Thayer III (Josh Copeland), Delia Horn (Robert) and Hannah West (Joseph); her stepchildren, Jamie Adams (Chandler), Jordan Keller (Jason), Jacob Thayer (Missi) and Joanna Elizabeth Thayer; her grandchildren, Louisa West, Joseph West Jr., Lilah Horn, Harlin Cope, Ashten Cope and Sadie Adams; and her siblings, David F. Dieteman and Susan M. Schmitt. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Shriner's Children's Hospital.
