He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Alecci and Rose Alecci (Taccone); his son John; his siblings, Leonard and Josephine; and his close friends, Paul and Bob.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Alecci (Mariella); his children, Sal Alecci (Kathy) and Jean Alecci; his grandchildren, Tony Alecci, Megan Rose (Rick), Jennifer Bond (Travis) and Beth Foor (Jeremy); and his stepgrandchildren, John (Amanda), Mandi and Melissa. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren and 6 step great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the UPMC Hillman Cancer Center, 2500 W.12th.
