He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank McAndrew and Mary McAndrew; his former wife Elaine McAndrew; his wife Kristine McAndrew; his stepmother Helen McAndrew; his brother Jack Howell; and his nephew Scott Eshelman.
He is survived by: his sisters, Paula Eshelman and Karen Kuchinski; his sons, Marc (Michelle), Brian and Mercyhurst; his grandchildren, Jacob, Rachel (Marc), Collin and Lauren (Brian); and his nephews, Kelly Kuchinski, Jack Kuchinski and Todd Eshelman. He is also survived by his five great-grandchildren; and his nieces.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dusckas Funeral & Cremation Services (5151 Buffalo Rd, Erie, PA 16510). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Christ the King Chapel at Mercyhurst University (501 E 38th St, Erie, PA 16506).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Barry's memory to Mercyhurst University, 501 East 38th Street, Erie, PA 16506.
