Cecelia Menc Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cecelia Menc (Erie, Pennsylvania), who passed away on February 27, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Lackovic and Mary Lackovic (Berlt); her husband Robert Menc, Sr.; her brothers, Joe, Frank, John, Eddie, Dom, Tony, Paul and Jake Lackovic; her son-in-law James Hein; and her grandson Christopher Menc.

She is survived by: her children, Karen Hein of Jacksonville, FL, Margaret Menc of Ocala, FL, Robert Menc, Jr. (Betty) of Harrisburg, PA, Marlene Kosobucki (David) of Erie, PA, John Menc (Robin) of Amelia, VA, Julie Brown of Erie, PA and Jennifer Dellinger (Mark) of Salisbury, NC; her sisters-in-law, Margaret Filipowski and Terry Lackovic; and her caregivers, Lynne, Kat and Liz. She is also survived by twenty-five grandchildren and their spouses and 41 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Interim Hospice of Erie, Shriners of Erie, and St. Jude Children's Hospital.
