She was predeceased by: her parents, William Caleb Hale and Dorothy Winifred Hughes Hale; and her siblings, Dorothy, Evelyn, Betty and Alan.

She is survived by: her children, David (Therese), James (Kathleen), William (Denise), Robert (Kari) and Elizabeth. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
