He was predeceased by: his parents, Leland P. Hetrick and Marian Cooper Hetrick; his close friend John Marszalek; his stepdaughter Emily Reynolds Bostwick; and his sister Sharon Hetrick Roemer.
He is survived by: his close friend Chuck Lute; his wife Sue McArthur Hetrick; his daughters, Jennifer Trott (Matthew), Laurie Huya (Wayne) and Keri Gilson (Keith); his stepdaughter Kate McCullough (Ross); his grandchildren, Caden Gilson (Mackenzie), Chelsie Cooney (Kevin), Kayla Gilson, Sean Mitchell, Seth Mitchell, Joey Gilson, Cece Gilson, Stephen Trott, Garrett Trott, Meghann Huya, Madyson Huya, Isabella Bostwick, Iris Bostwick, Elijah Bostwick, Aria McCullough and Austin McCullough; and his siblings, Richard Hetrick (Mary) and Linda Miller (Dan). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Dusckas Funeral Home and Cremation Services (5151 Buffalo Rd, Erie, PA 16510). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. James Roman Catholic Church (2635 Buffalo Rd, Erie, PA 16510).
