He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Herbstritt and Sally Frank; and his brother Douglas Herbstritt. He is survived by: his sister Diane Wagner (Jerry); his daughters, Tara Herbstritt, Trish Hayes (Sean), Sandy Neal (Brent), Lori Hartman and Jenny Costa; his grandchildren, Dominic Herbstritt, Jake Neal (Emma), Jimmy, Aliyha McDade, Ava, Asa, Asher, Alisa Neal, Kayla Branca (Tyler), Blake Heffernan, Riley, Nathan, Alex and Justin Leuschen; his great grandchildren, Athena, James McDade, Lily Rose Branca and Delilah Neal; his former wife Lorraine Malinowski; and his nephews, Justin and Chris Herbstritt.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Fort LeBoeuf American Legion Post #285, supporting the community and veterans in the area. Keep Dennis's legacy alive by donating to a charity in need.
