He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Roy Halcom and Lottie Mae Childress Halcom; and his brother Jack Lee Halcom. He is survived by: his wife Judith Carol Ann Krkoska. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Kloecker Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. (2502 Sassafras St, Erie, PA 16502). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the University of Illinois Foundation at 303 St. Mary's Rd. MC-386, Champaign, Illinois, 61820. Please designate it as a donation for Donald Halcom for chemical engineering scholarships for the needy at Urbana Champaign campus (Thanks to an anonymous donor, all donations will be matched).
