We are sad to announce that on May 20, 2021, at the age of 85, Donald Jette Dick (Erie, Pennsylvania) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Mendal William Dick, Sr. and Louise Genevieve Young; his brother James Dick; and his daughter Dee Dee Dick Bules. He is survived by: his wife Darlene Turner Dick; his daughters, Debra Kibbe (Ray) of Findley Lake, NY and Dorian Otero-Flanagan (Dave Schwenk) of Erie; his grandchildren, Ashley DeCrapio (Tyler), Jessie, Jenna Kibbe, Kaleigh Bules and Jordon Otero-Flanagan; his great grandchildren, Braelynn and Brixon DeCrapio; and his siblings, Genevieve Brunk of San Diego, CA, Dolores Brandell (Roger) of Phoenix, AZ and Mendal Dick (Bertie) of North Chili, NY. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Alliance Church, 2939 Zimmerly Rd., Erie, PA 16506 or to Erie City Mission, PO Box 407, Erie, PA 16512.

“I went to Bethel Christian School with Dick's daughters, and got to know him a little there, and then again, several years later when he was the UPS delivery driver for a store at which I worked. I remember him being a very kind man, and a straight shooter, and the kind of decent person of which you wished the world was full.. I hadn't seen him in a very long time, but ran across the notice of his passing. Please know that he is remembered. -Peter Octavian”
