With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothea Blakely (Erie, Pennsylvania), who passed away on July 4, 2025 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Hinspeter and Viola Hinspeter; her husband Charles; her siblings, Norman, Edwin, Robert Hinspeter and Mildred Laird (Robert); her son-in-law Bill Rilling; and her granddaughter Jennifer Neal of Stephen City, VA..
She is survived by: her children, Michael Blakely (Nancy) of Arkansas, Charlene Rilling of Erie, Gail Blakely of Erie and Heather Ramey of East Springfield, PA; her grandchildren, Melissa Hitz (Scott), Carrie Savoia (Dominic), Jeremy Desser, Benjamin Moyer, Lynzee Brooks, Joshua, Stephanie Kahala and Amelia Doritty; and her great grandchildren, Ariel Cooper (Nick), Lorenzo, Giovanni Savoia and Isaac Neal. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
