Edward Gilman Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edward Gilman of Erie, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 26, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Edward may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Edward touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Gittleman and Nettie Tchaikovsky Gittleman; his son Neil Gilman (Barbara Gilman); and his brother Jay Gittleman. He is survived by: his sons, Judge Gary (Kathy Emery) of Canonsburg and Dr. Steven (Julia) of Erie, PA; his grandchildren, George, Ian (Margot), Hannah (Max Sebald), Abigail (Carolyn Seneca) and Samuel Gilman; and his sister-in-law Marsha Gittleman. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
