She was predeceased by: her parents, Stephen Zimmerman and Margaret Zimmerman. She is survived by: her husband Peter; her children, Heather Hill (John) of Baltimore, MD and Gregory Schessler (Jennifer) of Stow, OH; her grandchildren, Emily Hill, Charlie Hill, Margaret Schessler, Emma Schessler and Ian Schessler; and her siblings, Stephen Zimmerman (Sally) of Akron, OH and Margery Taylor (Dan) of Erie. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, godchildren, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory (1595 W 38th St, Erie, PA 16508). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. George Church (5145 Peach St, Erie, PA 16509).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. George Church or to the charity of personal choice.
