He was predeceased by : his parents, Raymond Armbruster and Cynthia Petroff Armbruster. He is survived by : his children, Jack Armbruster and Ellen Armbruster (Dalton Hollingsworth); and his grandchildren, Harper, Henley Friends and Schmidt.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home, Inc. (5000 Wattsburg Rd, Erie, PA 16504). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
