He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Joseph J. Namey and Geraldine A. Namey (Roccapalumbo). He is survived by: his longtime love Michelle Samson; his daughter Michelle Kuilman (Jason); his stepchildren, Elizabeth Sornberger (Steven) and Alec Samson; his grandchildren, Jackson, Anna, Samantha and Steven; his siblings, Dr. Joseph Namey (Maria) of Florida, Dr. Samuel Namey (Gail) of Erie and Theresa (Robert Yochim) of Michigan; and his godmother Annie Kominiarek (Robert Kominiarek). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
