Gilda P. Carr Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 4, 2025, at the age of 97, Gilda P. Carr of Erie, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Antonio Amatangelo and Giovina Ciotti Amatangelo; her husband William Carr; her son Raymond R. Carr, Sr.; her siser Priscilla Leone; her son-in-law James Sherrange; her niece Cathie Wojecki; and also, Marco and Alfred Amatangelo.
She is survived by: her daughter Annette Sherrange of Erie; her great grandchildren, Jason Sherrange, Michela Mathur (Vishal), Matthew Sherrange (Meghan Flood) of Connecticut, Zachary Carr, Rene Miller (Ron) and Raymond Carr of North Carolina; her daughter-in-law Norma Compton; and also, Bennett of Connecticut, Ria, Sariv of Massachusetts, Wyatt, Kayorie, Ajah, Giovina, Mathias and Lester Carr.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Calendar Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Services (602 W 10th St, Erie, PA 16502). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Calendar Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church (1626 W 26th St, Erie, PA 16508).
