With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jacqueline E. Hand of Erie, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 10, 2026 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Weigel and Elizabeth Weigel; the father of her children John Reigel; her former husband Bob Shushok; her husband Charles "Chuck" Hand; and her siblings-in-law, Richard Hand and Vonnie Hall.
She is survived by: her children, Jeff Reigel (Lynn Ross), Kim Eliason (Dan) of Erie and Becky Russell (Donny) of Erie; her stepsons, Chuck Hand of Florida, Steven Hand (Lisa) of Northeast, Daniel Hand (Amanda) of Virginia and Kenneth Hand of Pittsburgh; her grandchildren, Brianna Eliason (John Follador), Ben Eliason (Olivia MacArthur), Angela Russell, Ricky Russell and Adrianna Donahue; her brother Dennis Weigel (Jackie) of Charlotte; and her close friend Lynda Nichols Berg. She is also survived by step-grandchildren; step great-grandchildren; three nieces.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions may be made to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, in honor of her courageous battle with breast cancer. Keep Jacqueline's legacy alive by donating to a charity in need.
