James Scavona Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Scavona of Erie, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 22, 2025 at the age of 78. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Scavona to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Scavona and Martha Scavona; his wife Darlene Scavona; his brothers, William and Joseph Scavona; and his sister-in-law Shirley Scavona.
He is survived by: his children, Joe Scavona (Colleen) and Alicia Scavona (Adam Montie); and his grandchildren, Austin, Landon, Carter, Kinsley Scavona, Colton and Elise Montie. He is also survived by one niece and three nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Dusckas Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. (2607 Buffalo Rd, Erie, PA 16510). A prayer will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. James R. C. Church (2635 Buffalo Rd, Erie, PA 16510).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Girl Scout Troop 36383.
