He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Boback Gerard and Henry Edward Gerard; and his brother Gary Gerard. He is survived by: his children, John (Susan), Mike (Diane), Terri Gerard Mattocks and Fred; his grandsons, Nick (Kim) and David (Megan); his great grandchildren, Clara Kate, Blakely, Jameson and Grayson; and his girlfriend Mary Jane Blair.
