With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John E. Ehrman of Erie, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 26, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert F. Ehrman and Mildred Ehrman (Schaper); and his brother Rev. R. David Ehrman. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Ehrman (Mogel); his children, Chris Ehrman (Maria), Melissa Ehrman Roberts (Tim) and Eric Ehrman (Kelly); his grandchildren, Nathan Ehrman (Nicole), Alex Poloskey (Mary), Matthew Ehrman (Catherine), Danielle "Lanie" Poloskey (Taylor Bertin), Emily Roberts (Brad Nowosielski) and Tim Roberts (Alyssa Prylinski); his great grandchildren, Ben, Addie and Gianna Ehrman; his siblings, Mary Malloy and Thomas Ehrman (Faith); his sister-in-law Kathy Hoffman (John); and his friends, Marty and Kathy Eisert. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
