He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hromyak and Elizabeth "Welsh" Hromyak; and his sister Suzanne Hromyak. He is survived by: his wife Deborah A. Hromyak (Romecki); his son Michael J. Hromyak (Kristen); his grandchildren, Kennedy, Michael II and Henry; and his sister Mary Gamble (Sam Gamble). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kloecker Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. (2502 Sassafras St, Erie, PA 16502). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Patrick Church (130 E 4th St, Erie, PA 16507).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorial contributions to the Julie Billiart School in Brecksville, Ohio, in honor of his memory and in recognition of his beloved grandson, Michael II.
