He was predeceased by: his parents, W. Craig "Bus" Scott and Eleanor Smith Scott; his wife Carol J. Clinger Scott; his siblings, Richard and Cynthia Urban; and his son-in-law Ronald Fox.
He is survived by: his children, Kimberly, John L., Jr. (Pamela Sallot) and Steven G. (Amy Post); his grandchildren, Daniel, Dave, Kriste, Ashley (Matt), John III (Stephanie), Cameran and Sarah (Damian); his brother Robert of Traverse City, MI; and his sisters-in-law, Phyllis Barto, Lorraine Clinger, Sandee and Linda of Norman, OK. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. (4216 Sterrettania Rd, Erie, PA 16506). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
