He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Carl Blaine Lininger and Mary Jean Lininger (Winston); and his brother Carl B. Lininger Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Christa Sanborn (Mike), Jennifer Halloran (Daniel), Thomas Lininger (Dana) and James Lininger; his sisters, Mary "Fran" Cooper and Carol "Pinky" Dunn; his grandchildren, Andrew Lininger (Laura), Madeline Lininger, John Lininger (Tori) and Carissa Lininger; his great grandchildren, Noah and Parker Lininger; his former wife Barbara Lininger (Keck); and his caregiver Diane Winston. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
