He was predeceased by: his wife Charlene; and his grandsons, John Whitney Roth III and Jake Harris Roth. He is survived by: his children, John W. Roth Jr. (Crystal), Chip Roth (Trina) and Patricia Koch; his grandchildren, Megan Ford (Brandon), Alexandra Roth Johnson (AJ), Natalie Roth, Grace Roth, Spenser Roth (Brenna), Will Koch and Charle Koch; his stepgrandchildren, Courtney Ducker (Michael) and Lauren Einterz; and his great grandchildren, Blaine, Evan Ford, Jaden, Ava Johnson and Grayson Ducker.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to a charity of your choice in John's honor or your local food bank (John volunteered at Zionsville food pantry).
