Karen Brown Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Karen Brown of Erie, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 21, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Sherosky and Anna Mrocek Sherosky; her husband Donald Edward Brown; and her brothers, David Sherosky and Johnny Kovacevich.
She is survived by: her children, David Brown (Alaina) of Erie and Lori Smith (Ben) of Elkhart, Indiana; and her sisters, Eva Shelton of Texas and Mary Ann Schake of Pennsylvania. She is also survived by six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bowers Funeral Home (92 S Lake St, North East, PA 16428). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the charity of one's choice.
