He was predeceased by: his parents, Leona Boyer and Stewart Averill; his grandparents, Charles and Laura Boyer; his wife Lucille Boyer (Wingrove); his daughter Valerie Oldland; his son-in-law Bill Hardin; and his siblings, Leonard Averill, Vincent Averill and Patricia Morehouse.
He is survived by: his children, Loretta Franz (Dennis), Kenneth Boyer Jr. (Margo), Stuart Boyer (Sue), Scott Boyer (Gail) and Rebecca Hardin; his son-in-law Leonard Oldland; his grandchildren, Katherine, Corinne Lehner, Jody Jozefczyk (Christine), Holly Buchanan, Brian Jozefczyk, Kelly Schuster (Joe), Dan Boyer (Allison), Stacy Hammer (Jay), Brett Boyer (Alicia), Tyler Boyer (Sydney), Nicholas Boyer (Sarah), Brandon Boyer (Chloe), Jordan Boyer, Shawn Hardin (Kendra) and Jacob Hardin (Vanessa); his brother Dennis Boyer (Carol); and his brother-in-law Val Wingrove, Jr.. He is also survived by 33 great grandchildren; a great great grandson.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory (1595 W 38th St, Erie, PA 16508). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
