He is survived by: his parents, Kurt B. Gerhard, Sr. and Judy A. Gerhard (Vannucci); his wife Michelle L. Gerhard (Swanson); his daughter Ashlyn Pieri-Gerhard (Andrew Linderman) of Lancaster; his sister Melissa Byerly (Scott) of Harborcreek; his sibling's children, Logan Byerly and Kylie Byerly; his parents-in-law, Chris, Carol Gradler, Greg and Pati Swanson; his close friends, Jeremi, Andrea Hermann, Justin "Frog", Cortney Kaliszewski, Ed, Teri Hermann, Jimmy Joint and Jason Hermann; and his pets, Nellie and Rocky. He is also survived by extended family and many friends.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family c/o the Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory.
