She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Chapman and Lou Chapman (Diggs); her husband Angelo Lamar Gordon Sr.; her sons, Michael Gordon and Angelo Lamar Gordon Jr.; her grandchildren, Baby Grace Gordon and Dedric Ray Gordon; her brother John Albert Chapman (Helen Chapman Cooley); her cousin Almeda Woodard; and her sister Ollie Johnson (Gordon).
She is survived by: her son Billy-Ray Gordon of Erie, PA; her sister Lylie Jones of Shubuta, MS; and her grandchildren, Tawica Rae Nicholson of Erie, LaRicia Deriree Nicholson of Erie, Angelo Lamar Gordon III of Erie and Josh Boone of Erie.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the First Good Samaritan AME Zion Church (3209 Pennsylvania Ave, Erie, PA 16504). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the First Good Samaritan A. M. E. Zion Church (3209 Pennsylvania Ave, Erie, PA 16504).
