It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lydia Borowy of Erie, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 4, 2025, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Salvatore Vitelli and Rosa DeAngelis Vitelli; her husband Hank; her sons, Mark Borowy (Lois) of Waterford and Jim Borowy (Maryann); and her brothers, Silvio, Tony and Leo Vitelli.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Borowy (Laura) of Erie and Teresa Borowy of Erie; and her siblings, Salvatore Vitelli and Rena Wierbinski.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Patrick Church (130 E 4th St, Erie, PA 16507). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
