With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Marcus Carder of Erie, Pennsylvania, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Effie Mary Carder and Jimmy Mannis; his siblings, Gloria Carder and John Floyd Carder; his nieces, Johnterria and Effie; and his uncle Zander Carder.
He is survived by: his wife Karen J. Carder; his children, Nathan Hiles (Danielle), Timothy McCaffrey, Nicholas Davis and Jenna Thompson (Ouijalwan); his siblings, Patricia Ann Carder, Sharon Caviness, Chandler, Bessie Lee Carder, Michael and Tyrone Allen; and his nephew Burt Williams.
Visitation was held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A celebration of life was held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Friendship Baptist Church (1719 Cascade St, Erie, PA 16502).
