We are sad to announce that, on April 21, 2026, at the age of 78, Mary K. Phillis of Erie, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Mary's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Mary has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Diehl and Vera Diehl; her former husband Joseph Metz; her husband Ronald Phillis; her significant other James Brinks; her son Michael Metz; and her brother John Diehl.
She is survived by: her children, Mychelle Serafine and Matthew Phillis; and her grandchildren, Hunter Phillis, Andrew, Samantha, Codi Serafine and Mckynzie Miles. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
