He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Sr. Murphy and Jewell Murphy (Cochran); his significant other Robin Chesko; and his sister Chris Orr (Murphy). He is survived by: his daughter Michelle Murphy (Abby) of Madison, WI; his grandchild Logan Murphy; his brother Norman Murphy Jr. (Sarah Murphy); his siblings-in-law, Becky Deutsch and Allen Orr; and his friends, Chuck, Anne Mathews and Roseanne Gresh. He is also survived by extended family and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Edder Family Funeral Home (309 Main St E, Girard, PA 16417). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the St. Patrick's Catholic Church (130 E 4th St, Erie, PA 16507).
