He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar H. Schlabach and Mary Sue Schlabach (Wengerd); and his brother Titus Schlabach. He is survived by: his children, Paul (Melissa) and Adell Lane (Greg). He is also survived by three children; his six brothers; four sisters; and many nieces and nephews.
