He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Smith and Norma Hill Smith; his sister Cecelia Ann Lostroch; and his granddaughter Rachel Smith. He is survived by: his wife Marie Johnson Smith; his children, Christie Smith and Eric Smith; his grandchildren, Kiara Smith, CJ Lipford, Kalonnie Lipford, Rebecca Smith, Cameron Smith and LeAnne Tate; and his siblings, Malcom Smith (Roberta), Michael Smith (Patty), Patrick Smith, Paul Smith and Pamela Smith Grunzel (David). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
