He was predeceased by: his parent Charles Messenkopf. He is survived by: his parent Inez Messenkopf (McCloskey); his wife Josephine Messenkopf (Tortorete); his daughter Charlene Teel Volario; his sister Lyn McKee; and his children, Susan Kania (John), Charles "Chip" Messenkopf (Patricia), Sally Messenkopf (Mary), Kathi Baker (Denis), Michele Mathers (Jerry) and Michael Ducato (Karen). He is also survived by nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
